My testimony.

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. ROMANS 11.36.

Hi, first of all I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Abbie Glir, I am a cellist and daughter of God by his grace. I was born in a small coastal town in southern Spain. From a very young age I heard about the gospel through my parents and understood the message of salvation approximately at my 6 years old. I knew I was a sinner in need of a savior but I also knew that Christ loved me and was with me in my moments of difficulty. I had yearned for many years to dedicate my music to Christ in a professional way but due to the toils and routine of life it seemed as if I “never” had time until the Lord decided to give me a stop. To relocate my life and my heart completely to his plans in the least expected way, an atrocious diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, with which I understood in the midst of the test that my personal desires had no value and that the only one deserving of all the glory it is Christ, my beloved Savior. He prepared my heart for the test by bringing a deep obsession to study the book of Job for a whole year. I did not understand or know what the future held but something I was clear about was that something that came into my life was not “good”. But like all of us who know the Lord, He surprised me and as Job said: “I had known you better by hearing now my eyes see you.” Job 42:5. He taught me in a practical way that his grace is sufficient and that life in him goes completely the opposite of what people who do not know Christ think. Having “everything” but foolishly believing that my heart desired Christ I felt empty, but now having allowed myself to lose “everything” I feel full in Him, Because “In His presence there is fullness of joy and delights at His right hand forever”- Psalm 16:11. My purpose is that you are encouraged by my testimony and that my music helps you in your intimate moments of prayer with the Lord and that you can praise the Lord with it.
